Rotary Club of Horsham East

Welcome! We are a club of nearly 70 members, one of 2 Rotary clubs in our Rural City of Horsham, home to 13,300 who enjoy a relaxed country lifestyle with numerous city standard facilities.

Horsham is 301 kilometres north-west of Melbourne, on the Western Highway, almost midway between Melbourne and Adelaide.

Located on the banks of the Wimmera River, Horsham is the known as the capital of the Wimmera, serving as an important business and recreational centre for the entire Wimmera and Grampians region.

Originally opened up for grazing, the Wimmera lands became better known for wheat production and, due to this, Horsham quickly developed as a centre of economic activity for the surrounding region.

Horsham is an ideal base for visiting the surrounding natural attractions, being located close to the renowned Northern Grampians, Little Desert National Park and world famous Mt Arapiles.Horsham has one of the finest greens golf courses outside metropolitan Melbourne and is featured in the top public courses in Australia.

Our weekly Rotary Club meetings are well known for the excellent fellowship enjoyed by members and extended to visitors, so please visit soon!
